What does Easter mean to the average person today ? Holidays- Easter eggs ? Or celebrating some ancient tradition ? Whatever may be the case, what happened some 2000 years ago is still relevant to this very day. There is but one problem that this event is celebrated on different dates by the christian churches throughout the world. This being a real sign of the devision that exist amongst them. A scandel ? Yes indeed ! It would be great to unify the date of Easter so that the whole church will call out with one voice ;”He is risen” Only than can we expect to see great things happen in the world as that acclamation will be heard and responded to by the Most High who is waiting for us to act on His request to unify the date of Easter. For those who are interested in adding a vote to reach the desired target .( tlig.org one date)
As from an early age I have been very much interested in uniting the things that devide people around us. This could well be the an outcome from the war situation I found myself in at a very early age . After the war was over there were always thing for people to argue about and stay devided. May it be in family’s , citys, countries, and even different church denominations. To this very day it unfortunatly is still the case. There is talk about world peace but it does not seem to eventuate. I am sure not to be the only person in the world to have this concern. A feedback would be greatly welcome as this will lead to interaction that will help things improve through the honest sharing of ideas.
awaiting your feedback,
